Objective:
Distribute a Mother/Baby Kit on every admission to the post partum unit. WellStar wanted a gift to mom and baby, and a post discharge marketing tool.

Tactics:
A onesie in the community with the WellStar Cobb Hospital branding, an insulated carafe to encourage mom’s hydration, and a branded plastic bag to hold the two items.

Results:
WellStar has seen a marked increase in their Press Ganey satisfaction scores. Community awareness of this program is so high that patients have been asking for their kits before distribution. Because of the success at WellStar Cobb, WellStar Kennestone Hospital placed an order for 6500 pieces of each item.
